This is from February 10th, the dental hygiene came to our school. It was a success for our first appointments. Students got cleanings and sealants. Some students did not have a dentist, and they referred and will help find dentist. Our next appointments will be February 24. If your high school student needs an appointment, please sign the permission slip and get it turned into Bingham Academy. #GoDragons!

Today for HOSA our students learned how to place and remove stitches and staples on patients. They learned the reasons why Doctors would choose to place stitches over staples. They really enjoyed their lesson today and they can't wait to practice more. #GoDragons!

Ms. Kasper and the HOSA Club held a Casting Clinic where students, staff, and parents learned how to apply a short arm fiberglass cast. Everyone had a blast, but more importantly they learned how debilitating it is to break an arm. There was a huge group of kids begging to get their casts off in the morning.

Bingham Academy students did a lab on covalent and valent bonding for Chemistry. #GoDragons!

FREE Preventative Dental Care is
Being Offered at Bingham Academy
February 10th and 24th (Monday)

Southeastern Idaho Public Health (SIPH) is committed to ensuring that dental care is available to students beyond just the eighth grade. In partnership with April Sluder, RDH-EA, SIPH has successfully secured a grant to extend dental services through the high school years in the Blackfoot area. This is a valuable opportunity for students to continue receiving essential dental care throughout their academic journey. We strongly encourage you to take full advantage of this initiative to support your child's health and well-being. #GoDragons!

Spirit Week starts Monday, October 28. The grade level with the highest participation gets an hour lunch! #GoDragons!

Bingham Academy will be hosting a holiday craft fair. December 13th from 3-8pm and December 14th from 11am-6pm. We hope to see you there! #GoDragons!

What is HOSA? It is a Health Occupation Students of America club. Today Ms. Kasper and the HOSA Leadership went to the HOSA Basic Conference. Where the students learned how to be successful CTSO leaders. We are building an awesome HOSA Club come and check us out.
