This Career Technical Education (CTE) position teaches students how to use both software and hardware in a pre-engineering pathway. Courses taught by this position include: Technology and Design, Introduction to Robotics, Manufacturing and Design, and a senior level Capstone class. Familiarity with software such as: AutoCAD, Inventor, and Fusion 360 from AutoDesk is preferred. Familiarity with 3D printing, CNC machining, VEX robotics, and drones is also preferred.

Idaho CTE certification or the ability to obtain Idaho CTE certification is required. Training is available.

To be negotiated based on Idaho Salary Schedule.

1. Idaho teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement(s) and/or part of CTE (Career and Technical Education)
2. Implement AutoCAD/Fusion360/Vex Robotics and run machine specific software
3. Utilize CNC Mill and Router, 3D printer, laser cutter, and wood shop tools in lessons
4. Demonstrated knowledge of subject matter and effective teaching methods
5. Strong background in the integration of technology with instruction
6. Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
8. Work well with students, staff, and the public
9. Maintain confidentiality of staff and students
10. Able to work under deadlines
